The material mix of the "Spy-Cromo" is exceptional. The chassis is made of stainless steel. The turret, the central element of the elevation adjustment, is made of titanium. Titanium is a special material with extremely high tensile strength and low weight.
When shooting at 300 m with large-caliber weapons, the diopter is subjected to considerable stress. For this reason, Centra has developed the high-strength chassis in combination with a lightweight turret that can withstand the stresses without much effort.
